pastries
The past couple of weeks, I've been getting pastries at a rate higher than normal (for me.)
Once a week or so, I like to get a latte. Sometimes I have meetings at 10am and it's hard to drink 3 cups of coffee during the meeting (it would require me to leave twice.) At the old house, I could just stop by the Starbucks on the way to work. But now there aren't any good coffee shops around (yes, I think Starbucks is a good coffee shop.)
I've been going to Honoré bakery during the week and then Fresh Flour on Phinney at other times. Their croissants are great and Honoré's Cannelés are pretty spectacular.
It just seems like the right thing to do. Stop by the french bakery in the morning and pick up a pastry. and coffee.
