nothing to say

I haven't had much to say lately.

What's been going on? New things:

• At karaoke, I sang Eternal Flame. I think this might be going into the rotation. I tried What's the Frequency Kenneth (R.E.M.) and that didn't work out so well. I tried Johnny B. Goode and that wasn't so great.


• I went to my first baby shower. It was more like a normal party than a baby shower (apparently - since I've never been to a baby shower.)


• For Peter's birthday, we went to Metropolitan Grill; I've never spent more money on one dinner in my life. Last June I spent ~$70 on a steak and a beer at The Heart of Texas, a Houston steakery. But this was $40 more than that. It was pretty great and included an appetizer, Wagyu beef Carpaccio - tasted like sushi.


• went to boom noodle. not so great. i'm looking forward to better noodles elsewhere.

Instead of asking what your favorite albums of the year are, I'm going to ask which albums I'm missing? What have I overlooked? Expanding out to the last 5 years or so...

I can't think of many albums which I really neede to have in the last year.
